Tai Chi is practiced for health, longevity, and defence. The soft, slow, coordinated movements of the form harmonise mind and body, which calms and settles emotions. Tai Chi is suitable for all ages. Classes will be progressive, with students gradually learning more of the short form on a weekly basis. Classes are £36 a month or £10 per week. Clothing should be comfortable and not restrictive (loose trousers or track bottoms and flat-soled shoes or barefoot).
